2012 PRESENT ART FESTIVAL

 IV^th Meeting in Shanghai

On Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the prestigious Shanghai PuDong National Library, will be opened  the fourth edition of PRESENT ART FESTIVAL – Meeting in Shanghai, the international event dedicated to Art and its many languages, that this year will host several artists from all over the world.

Present Art Festival  is more than just an art event; not only it involves personalities from the world of art, but it also offers the opportunity for high level firms to enter the Chinese market. Present Art Festival favours a philosophy in which the reciprocal openness in communication and in cultural and economical exchange is of the utmost importance; one of its main goals is to promote art, culture and the best of each country, creating a fundamental foundation for a constructive dialogue between East and West. With its planning of exhibitions, promotional events, forums and conventions, Present Art Festival is an occasion to get updates on what is happening in the world of contemporary art, and an important chance to get in touch with the Chinese public and with the opportunities offered by today’s China.

Among the events that the Festival includes, it is worth to mention the Art Investment Forum, which will take place on July 15 at CEIBS – China Europe International Business School (www.ceibs.edu), one of the most important Chinese institutes of higher education. It will house some of the Chinese main entrepreneurs, whose participation will considerably favour the visibility and the promotion of the artists of Present Art Festival, in its marvellous building designed by Ieoh Ming Pei, the world-famous architect who designed the Louvre Pyramid.

The Italian and International artists who will participate in the 2012 PRESENT ART FESTIVAL – IV Meeting in Shanghai were chosen and selected by Present Contemporary Art; Satura Art Gallery Cultural Association; Studio Abba for the OpenArtCode project.
